Lifestyle Design Tribe ("LDTribe", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Jay Costa at ldtribe.com. We provide a community forum, educational courses, and related content for people interested in conscious lifestyle design. You can contact us at hello@ldtribe.com.

Account information — when you register, we collect your username, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). You may optionally provide a display name and bio.

Content you create — posts, comments, and community interactions you make on the platform are stored in our database.

Usage data — we use Statcounter (a third-party analytics service) to collect anonymised traffic data such as page views and approximate geographic region. No personally identifiable information is sent to Statcounter.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and improve the platform, deliver the content you request, respond to your support enquiries, and send important account-related communications (we do not send marketing emails without your consent).

4. Cookies

We use a single session cookie (ldtribe_session) to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies beyond the anonymised analytics described above.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only as required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us at hello@ldtribe.com and we will remove your personal information within 30 days.

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and CSRF protection. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

LDTribe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
